Spend your time admiring all of Danbury has to offer on one of their hiking trails, such as Bear Mountain Reservation or strolling through one of the city’s parks. These include Elmwood Park, Hatters Community Park, Richter park, Highland Avenue Park, or Tarrywile Park, which has over 21 miles of hiking trails. Danbury has also played a role in pop culture. Parts of the film The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 were filmed in the city. In the film Blow starring Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz, Johnny Depp’s character George Jung serves his 26 year-sentence in the Danbury federal prison.
